Batemans Bay - a Preview

Once a 'sleepy' fishing village, the Bay has now evolved into a vibrant regional centre being strategically located on the south coast of New south Wales just a short drive from Canberra and an easy drive from Sydney. Batemans Bay is favoured for it's temperate climate, cosmopolitan lifestyle, pristine waterways, stunning beaches, State Forests and National Parks.

The affluent, yet relaxed atmosphere is reflected in the architecture and style of the residential and commercial real estate. The popularity and prominance of the Bay has attracted a variety of major fanchises to the CBD complimenting a wide array of specialty shops catering to the local and tourist trade.

There are many fine restaurants and cafes along the waterfront and within the main town centre most featuring our famous Clyde River oysters on the menu. There are licenced sporting and recreational clubs, all with modern facilities. Within the infrastructure the region supports two Hospitals, an Airport and a Marina. Medical Centres, Child-care Centres, Schools, Colleges and places of Worship are well represented.

Our fabulous Golf Courses, Bowling Greens, Sailing and Fishing Clubs welcome visitors and are just some of the activities to be enjoyed all year round.
